Pollenca

The historic town of Pollenca has always been a favourite cultural destination. The main square is a hub of activity where you can taste the local fine dining, tapas and local wines and cocktails There are lots of wonderful shops and boutiques to browse in and of course the wonderful Sunday market where you'll find fresh local produce and handicraft stalls. The beautiful church surrounded by cobbled streets, gives you a sense of past times and there are many historical sites to visit as well as the museum and art galleries. The town has everything you need, banks, pharmacy's, supermarkets, delicatessens, and the tourist information office can provide you with all the information you need to know about the area.

Port de Pollenca

What's not to love? The picturesque bay of Pollenca will have you visiting time and again. The beautiful sandy beach, the promenade and pine walk, and many bars and restaurants to choose from. A family friendly resort, it has all the amenities you could wish for. If watersports are your thing then look no further. Diving, windsailing, windsurfing, paddle boarding, its all here.

Alcudia

Also with historic significance the old walled town of Alcudia is a must see in the north of the island. Fantastic restaurants and Roman architecture make this a favourite place to stroll around in the evenings. Further afield you will find some incredible beaches both around the old town areas and in Alcudia resort itself where the Playa de Muro stretches for several miles down towards Can Picafort. A visit to the Albufera Wetlands for those interested in the nature of the area is recommended.

Why not rent a car and have the freedom to explore the island. It is the easiest way to get around. Take a trip to the wineries and the countryside of the interior. Take a trip up to the Tramuntana mountains. You can even take in the wonderful capital city of Palma .
